I really like this letter and I printed it out to hang on my fridge for anyone that comes over to read. Most of my days aren't as bad as the letter writer's are, I don't have the twitching or the spasms, and so far a I haven't put my laundry in the stove, LOL. But I can relate to a lot of it. The best way I can think to describe it is Have you ever fallen asleep with a rubberband or hairbow around your wrist and when you wake up you've lost the circulation in your hand and it's all swollen? That's how my entire body feels when I wake up in the morning. On good days it'll ease up and I can move around easily. But on bad days, I have trouble walking or lifting things.
The website where I got the letter from offers car magnets and pins for Fibro Awareness for sale and I think I'm going to get some. I would love for everyone to know at least what it is, even if they still don't completely understand it because it seems I'm having to go through the whole explanation of what exactly FMS is to at least one person everyday
