Yeah, I just watched Jesus Camp again and I really am scared about the growing stupidity of people and their willingness to believe a bunch of bullshit that couldn't stand up to the scientific method if it had to.

just saw Expelled; the fact that Ben Stein isn't trying to win any popularity contests helps to validate his message... i gather that his goal is to promote free thought, especially more thinking about worldviews that drive American academia

Well, you'd be wrong then, considering the way the movie was marketed was to essentially gather as much publicity from conservative sources as possible. The propaganda style of the movie and the murky details concerning all of their claims (see expelledexposed.com), I'd say promoting free thought is exactly what the movie is -not- doing.

Judging by your website, however, your own understanding of the thought process behind evolutionary theory and the biochemistry behind it is fairly limited. I'd suggest Dawkins' 'The God Delusion' for a nice primer on the fallacy in intelligent designs' logic.
