I am not a fan of the cold. The husband says I am in denial that winter is here. In any case I have ordered nearly all the seeds I will be using this year. My hope is to not purchase any plants at all this year but to start them all. It really won't be long. Some will be started as soon as January!

I am now actually looking at flower seeds for the front beds. I am considering just hiring someone to dig them out for us if the price will fall in the budget. There is a lady at work who has been out on maternity leave, they have yet to give her any of her short-term disability payment and her husband does landscape work. I *know* they could use the extra cash... If we can get some of the old soil removed I could supplement it with leaf mulch and manure on the one side and get the pond in this spring on the other side.
