Just a small update. Still alive, still happy. I've gone on a small cleaning binge of desk sized preportions at work and somewhat at home, though it may have been a side effect of some medication I took yesterday. Gotta blame something

I know the feeling, when people have always asked me what I wanted for a gift, I shrug and say, "no clue".
This of course ties in with your train of thought in that, if I want it, I buy it (as most things I honestly want rarely hit me hard on my small budget). But yeah, the trick I've learned is to look for something that you feel is an inside joke of sorts, something meaningful to only you and that person. They'll love it regardless then.
