Dislikes: Racism, pushy Christians, cockroaches, abortion, public speaking, and Hillary Clinton.
Hobbies/Interests: My hobbies and interests generally coincide with my likes. I am interested in psychiatric medicine and WWII, and tend to read up on those topics.
Special talents: Fast reader and a good listener.
Pet peeves: I am not annoyed or angered easily at all. The only thing that has the potential of getting me riled up is when others hurt or talk badly about my loved ones.

Describe yourself in three sentences: I am a very shy person who values academics and is a bit emotional, hence I cry easily. In public I tend to keep quiet and it is a bit hard for me to make friends because I never am the one to start up a conversation. Although I don’t make friends easily, I also don’t make enemies easily and can genuinely say that I hate no one.
Favorite Old Kingdom character? Why? Sabriel; surprisingly enough. This is an odd occurrence for me since I usually am not attached to the main characters in a series. In fact, I sometimes find them annoying. Sabriel to me, however, was just the right mix of courage and realistic apprehensiveness.
Least favorite Old Kingdom character? Why? I thought that all of the characters were interesting and worth including in the books, but I would have to say Lirael. I just really couldn’t connect to her character at all.

One or the other
Famous or rich? I don’t aspire to be either, but if I had to chose one I’d say rich, simply because I’m such a shy person that being thrust into the spotlight would be uncomfortable for me.
Friends or family? I’m an only child, so the few close friends I have are like my family, but if forced to chose, I’d say family. However, I would much rather sacrifice myself for the both of them.
Night or day? Night. I am not a morning person.
Optimist or pessimist? I really don’t see myself as either. I’m a realist, or a pessimist forever searching for the optimistic in life. To me the glass isn’t half empty or half-full, it’s simply a glass.
Leader or follower? Very much a follower, especially in social situations where my shyness inhibits me.
Introverted or extroverted? I’m quite introverted. I’d like to change that and be more confident, but it’s jut hard for me to actually open up and start up conversatiosn with others.

Magically speaking...
Would you use weapons? If so, what kind? Probably only magic. I’m not the fighting type, I avoid confrontations and consider myself to be a pacifist. I’d probably even use my magic only as a last resort and instead try to diffuse situations using my knowledge and by trying to talk others out of quarrels.
If you could have any magical powers, what would you have? Telekinesis. I’d enable me to engage in long range combat and I wouldn’t have to be extremely physically fit to fight.
If you could be any animal, what would you be? Why? Assuming that the animal is somewhat akin to my personality, I think I’d either be a rabbit or an osprey. A rabbit because they are nervous and shy, or an osprey because they are solitary, passive and dependable.
If stranded alone on an island, what three things would you need with you? Water, batteries, and a radio or some kind of communication device. (Rationality FTW!)
Would you risk your own life to save someone? If I truly cared for them, then yes, I certainly would. If I did not know them, I hate to admit that I might not. I might be of more use alive to help fight and save others in the future.
Do you fancy any particular bell? Why? I can’t really say that I favor one over the other. They all have an important, albeit different purpose.

5’3” and my BMI is 18.9. I have light brown skin and dark brown eyes. My hair is straight and so black that I’ve been asked if I dye it before. I’m of Mexican descent, but I’ve been confused for Filipino and Native-American before.
