Great weekend. Saw Greg Warren with Laurie, Jessie, Alex and John, closed out Barnes & Nobles, and stayed up late talking. Next day, saw Laurie all day and bought a METAL CLARINET FOR FIFTY DOLLARS AT THE THRIFT STORE!!! Laurie and I are going to the Comedy Club on Friday to see Greg Warren. I've got twelve tickets. Anyone who wants to come, gimme a call or e-mail. You have to have at least five dollars to spend on food or drinks (key words, AT LEAST). Showtime is 7:30.

Game was great! The group fought the Arcane Watchers guildmaster, a larger-than-normal beholder, and won by the skin of their teeth. They looted some nifty stuff from it, like the Staff of the Ancients, which can maximize a spell at will or the Robe of the Mind, +4 to all mental stats ( Read more... )

Ran a shitty game on Saturday, ending with a fight between party members. Life energy was stolen, heads were bashed in with axe handles...it was ugly, and destroyed any chance of successfully stealing a magical staff from the tower of the Arcane Watchers, the PC's current nemesis.
