Oh, LJ is such a pain in the butt. I wanted to unsubscribe to your LJ, not to ban you from commenting in mine. Isn't there any way to do one but not the other?

I like your writing but it seems that you almost never use your LJ anymore, and it's my general MO to not remain a member of online communities where other commenters are insulting to me. I was going to keep up with you on your new blog, but now I find that I don't have it bookmarked! Only the twitter one, which seems to be all one-liners. If you give me the URL of your new blog I'll surely bookmark that. Your LJ seemed to mostly be only links to the new blog and to twitter anymore anyway, so I didn't think dropping it would leave me missing much.

I didn't realize that anyone had been insulting to you in my journal. I'm so sorry I missed it. My blog, which will have most of my 'public' stuff, is http://www.machineplay.com/signal. I actually just posted about not posting. :) I didn't realize really how much I hadn't been until I looked at my own journal page.

It's OK... if it bugged me THAT much, I would have said something. I just figured, 95% of your content seemed to be migrating anyway, so why raise a fuss? If LJ had the sense God gave a Microsoft application, I would have been able to stop subscribing to your LJ without banning you from mine and subscribe to your Signal blog instead and no one would ever have noticed the difference. Before I had to change the blog to friends-only, that was how it would have worked.

Anyway, I've re-added you so you can read my journal, and bookmarked the Signal page. Sorry about the inconvenience.
