So, today we filed a motion in court.  vVery exciting.  It was an ex parte protective order, which meant that the only people present were ourselves and teh judge.  For the order to continue,  there will need to be a hearing to prove the existence of domestic violence.

It's scheduled for Thursday.

I was actually planning to do so Sunday,afterwards, but Saturday's not a bad plan.

Very conveniently, a few days ago the whole clinic (all 4 of us) decided that on Friday we're going out for what we cheerfully refer to as "Domestic Violence Happy Hour!!!" and I must say the timing will be verey nice. We'll so need alcohol. ::grin::
