Also I discovered that the Maple Leaf, when Sleemans Honey Brown lager is off, have a handy back-up in Sleemans IPA. A bit of a shame about the need for a second mortgage to buy a round, though.

Back home after Wiltshire. There's only so much of my sister and parents in one place that I can take. Although 1-year old Simeon was mostly behaved, it will be nice to have an unbroken night's sleep.

Now six more days off. What to do.....

I seem to be heading there on Saturday and back on Tuesday, on the way to and from Devizes (parents house has been deemed un-babyproof for a 1 year old). Still at least it'll be warmer than last year.

Is Wiltshire far enough west that people wear smocks and chew straw?

Hmm, three months since the last one.

In a fit of keen, toddled off to the Globe on Saturday to see Anne Boleyn from one of the 'posh' seats, well a chair but with padded seat, albeit because I waited so long that it was all that was left. Yesterday I was sent an offer to buy a brick, for only £9.95 incl p&p.

That was an odd offer, albeit a brick that may be from one of Aston's towers which were blown up earlier this month. It might not be the right tower though - if they had guaranteed it from 13/13, that would be very different. I wonder why they only have 100 though.
