I'll give you a decent night's sleep, baby :D

And, based on the experiments I had to do as part of my first year psych course (we had to "volunteer" for the honours project experiments as part of our course) I think there's definitely something in this. No, really.

Does noone use blu-tac?

I think I'd be a mixture of 2 and 3. I'd stick two bits on the top corners, but at the angles of your picture 3. :)

Sucks that you're not getting sleep. :/ [comfort]

Yes I was about to say... I used blu-tac... or to be more precise the non-blue-tac-trademark blu-tac-like stuff that's in the cupboard ;)

People do use blu-tac, but there is only one blu-tac style (four dots, one under each corner). I guess it's just harder to be creative with blu-tac.

It was pretty much like Style 1. I'd like to think the jokes were better but I think I am now biased by my fastener prejudice.

I would also use Style 3, but only if I had enough tape. (I am constantly looking for blu tac/ pins/ tape dispensors at my workplace).

I have checked out this wall many a time, and never considered this angle! But next time I am hanging around on the blue couch, I could help you with your research proposal!
