I recently discovered tumblr -- it's another one of those miniblogging sites. I loved the layout so I started a tumblr site at flonk.lardcave.net. Posts there are less edited, and more random, than posts here.
Not only more random, but uncommentable upon! Could it be in deriding the mass media for the lack of meaningful interaction between demagogue and listener we have become the very thing we set out to destroy?1 1: No.

Hey, this is great. tumblr is named after something called a tumblelog. I happen to have the domain name tumble.tk, and I happen to have been looking for a name for a mini-blog, but I didn't know there was such a thing as a tumblelog. Happiness was staring me in the face but I didn't see it.
Sometimes I wish happiness would say something to let me know that it's there. :)
I didn't know about tumblelogs. Perhaps I should start being more "multimedia" in it? I'm not sure about adding comments. As the blog author I don't really want them, but as a blog reader I do -- for example, I would like to leave comments on your tumble log -- though maybe I should just do this in an ad hoc way, since it's a wiki.

As blog author you don't want comments, and on flonk you're blog author, so :-)
To leave comments on my site, yes, just edit the page. Ad hoc is good. It means you've got the hassle of deciding where to put the cursor and looking up the markup, but apart from that it's easy.
