Chris busted his knee at the beginning of the weekend and we worried he broke something. He says it feels fine now, with only minor pain if he bends it a certain way. Phew.
However, Chris is now sitting in the ER and has a broken finger.
From a car accident this morning.
Where a woman spun out in front of him and "played pinball" off of him and another car.
His car is "fubared". He thinks there's only a tiny chance that it's repairable.
Thankfully, everyone walked away alright.
Phew.
The EMTs rushed him into the ambulance as he was trying to get the insurance info from the other driver. I thought that was Accident 101: Exchange Insurance Information, but they told him it would all be in the police report. When he told me they 'drug him off' I was worried it was because he was all cut up and bloody. But, nope, just the broken finger and bruising in his chest from the seatbelt and airbag. Apparently they were just trying to hurry to clear the scene, as it was the expressway during morning traffic.
I'm so glad everyone's fine, though now I'm freaking out about money. :( Does car insurance (full coverage on his part at least) cover hospital fees? And even if his car is totaled, he would still have to pay what's left on it, right, along with finding a new car?
Let's hope his car can be fixed. *fingers crossed*
