Title: And this is the beginning...
Fandom: Star Wars
Characters: Padme Amidala (With mentions of Anakin Skywalker)
Prompt: 001 Beginnings
Word count: 441
Rating: G
Author's Notes: This is more of a blurb then anything, but nothing came to me when I chose to write the topic. It simply just started and turned out as this. I'm not PROUD of this writing, but I think it's nice none the less. All characters mentioned are copyrighted to Lucas LTD and I am just borrowing them, to put my creativity to use.
A beginning can happen at any given time in one's life. It's not exactly the moment you start something, but it could be, at the very least, the moment you start living. That was how it was when Padme had met Anakin Skywalker so long ago on his home planet. It was like a spark, that started something beautiful, and would remain that way until the bittersweet ending. When she had started her term as Queen Amidala, she expected her life to be dull, and drab with no chance of ever feeling free again. She however, had started to feel the emotions of love sweep through her very soul spending time with Anakin when she was pretending to be a lowly handmaiden to the Queen. She wasn't Queen Amidala, she was Padme, even though she wasn't herself, she felt that she could be open and honest with this small boy. She was fourteen at the time, what did a fourteen year old know of the notions of love? This was the beginning of a life that she would hide from all the world, until the very end, when those that she wanted to tell, it would be too late. She would be a memory that would over time, be forgotten. Her name would perish on the lips of those that would die, and her stories of love and bravery would never be told again. They say that when you let yourself go, you begin to live. Padme, never knew how true that statement was until she had fallen in love. Not a day went past, that she didn't think of him after he left for the academy. He was in her waking thoughts, her daydreams. She even thought she saw him a few times, but it was all a illusion, a trick of the eye. It was what she WANTED to see, but in reality, it wasn't really there.
The re-untiting of the two was like a weight had been lifted off of her shoulders, she was thrilled to see him, but of course, she couldn't let him know this. It was inappropriate. She never knew that would be the start of perhaps one of the well told love stories. Of course the names, and the images would change, but the story would remain the same. She would be the girl, that was swept off her feet by the Jedi Knight, and he would be the one that defied the order for the sake of love. They would forever be immortalized in that sense. Padme, was simply beginning her life, and no one could blame her for that.
Title: Broken Hearts
Fandom: Star Wars
Characters: Padme Amidala (With mentions of Anakin Skywalker, Obi-wan Kenobi)
Prompt: 071 Broken
Word count: 463
Rating: G
Author's Notes: Prompt written while listening to Broken by Seether. Lyrics belong to them, just borrowing them to set the mood. All characters mentioned are copyrighted to Lucas LTD and I am just borrowing them, to put my creativity to use.
"I wanted you to know, I love the way you laugh, I want to hold you high and steal your pain, away. I keep your photograph, and I know it serves me well. I want to hold you high and steal your pain. Cause I'm broken, when I'm lonesome, and I don't feel right, when you're gone away."
The times when they were apart, were torture to her, staying by the window, praying for this ridiculous war to end. She just wanted her husband back, was that too much to ask? She was frightened for his life. She was alone, and like a broken doll as she awaited his return. It had been months since they spent time together, and the news of which she wanted to bring to him, had to keep waiting. She was tired of waiting. She was tired of feeling alone. Her spirit had been broken, she went through the everyday notions of going on with her life. The meetings, the conferences, the planning. Did she feel anything for it? No, it was simply going through the normalcy of things, she couldn't risk making anything seem out of place. Even though her heart broke everytime she heard about someone dying in battle, fearing that the next one would be Anakin. The pain was too great to bear sometimes, and she found herself breaking down constantly within the confines of her room. Why didn't they just tell everyone, the very worst that would happen, is Anakin would be expelled from the Jedi Order. Would that be such a terrible thing? It wouldn't mean the end of the world, it would only mean the beginning. She would gladly leave her place as Senator at this given point in time, for she had grown to start to dislike it. She grew tired of the headgames that everyone played with each other.
Worrying constantly about the one you love, and your closest friend took it's toll on people. One can not think that you can go through it forever. It caused turmoil within a person's heart, was Anakin and Obi-wan okay? Were they in danger? Were they dead? She prayed the last two were only fears within her heart, for to lose either of them, would be devastating. She didn't think she could bear it. These are the times she wished that she could be there with them, to know that they were safe, like on Genosis. They were all together, and each looked after one another. The sacrifices one makes for love, is one of the hardest that anyone could ever bear. And until she recieved word from the latest results of the battles, she would be broken, awaiting the news. Good or bad.

Prompt: 028 Children
Word count:570
Rating: G
Author's Notes: Takes place when Padme first learns that she's with child. All characters mentioned are copyrighted to Lucas LTD and I am just borrowing them, to put my creativity to use.
It had been morning when she was awoken to go see the doctors, she was nervous. What if she wasn't alright? Would she be able to send for Anakin and have him brought back to Courscant to tend to her if all wasn't well? She had paced the evening before, going over all the possibilities. Not once did a child come across her mind. Why should it? True, she was married, and they had made love on more then one occasion, but to think of a child was so far from her mind. In her room, after the appointment she waited. Her hand brought up to her lips in silent thought as she stared out the window. What world was she living in? This place, wasn't her home, she wanted to simply go back to Naboo and try and live. Anything to get her mind off of Anakin and his impending battles. The sun had started to move and shift around the orbit when her room was opened and someone stepped in. She had asked them to send someone, and to speak of these results to no one. She was a private person, and if something was wrong, she would tell them herself. She didn't notice the person, which caused them to clear their throat and she was snapped from the daymares that plagued her. She took a deep breathe, anticipating the news. Once it was delivered to her however, that she was with child, the shock had set in. Child? Children? How? Well she knew perfectly well HOW, it was just a shock that didn't fully set into her mind until a few minutes later, after the woman had shook her by the shoulders to ensure that she was okay. She just nodded to the woman and sent her away. This would explain her cravings, the gained weight, she thought herself silly at first; assuming that it was just because of her worry that was causing her to drown in her own duties. She laughed then, the news finally taking the form in her mind as she mulled it over and over in her head. Yes, she was with child, her and Anakin were going to be parents! She was thrilled with the notion now, and her hands rested against her swollen belly as she sat down, to gaze at the setting sun, a smile playing across her lips in a fashion of a mother to be. It was just now awaiting Anakin to come home, where he belonged. Oh, how she longed to hold him in her arms and tell him the news! She could only hope, that after the initial shock, he would be just as thrilled as well. Afterall, he was going to be the father of a amazing child, especially if they inhabited his strengths. Would the child too be a Jedi? Or would they go to school to become a diplomat such as Padme? Questions were running rampant through the young woman's head, as she seemed overjoyed by them, with the prospect of finding some bit of happiness in the darkness that had begun overcasting itself on her life. She was going to be a mother, and she vowed, in that moment, that she would let no harm come to the youngling. That she would die protecting them, it was a mother's instinct afterall, to watch and guard after her child.
Title: With Death comes a promise
Fandom: Star Wars
Characters: Padme Amidala
Prompt: 030 Death
Word count: 509
Rating: G
Author's Notes: Very much would like to state the following fanfic might upset loyal star wars fans. It is not my intention to do so. It is written in a somewhat AU fashion, because Amidala never really dealt with death that much, so this fanfic takes place after her death, and she is amongst the living one more, and thinking about Anakin. I have put it in a LJ cut, simply for the fact it contains spoilers to Episode 3, and out of respect for those that may NOT have seen it, I've decided to do this. All characters mentioned are copyrighted to Lucas LTD and I am just borrowing them, to put my creativity to use.
The streets had been lined with people, holding candles, weeping for the loss of Padme Amidala. A woman they knew as perhaps one of the greatest Queens to ever rule Naboo. Her family trailed behind the casket, along with the new Queen, and Jar Jar Binks their faces were clouded with a great sadness. Her family knew that she had done her best to serve the Senate, and that she died for a just cause. What they didn't know, was that the children had been delivered, and were well and safe within the Jedi Council. Her dress was made of a soft blue material, and her hair was threaded with delicate white flowers, she truely was as beautiful in death, as she was in life. Crying was heard throughout the streets, and vaguely, just vaguely, Padme could hear it, but she could not move, her body just simply wouldn't budge. She wasn't dead, but at the moment was she truely alive? If she couldn't move or talk? Cry out for help? Call out for Anakin, whom she KNEW was still alive. She remembered the children being born, and giving the names Luke and Leia, and how she had told Obi that there was still good within Anakin, and then the world just simply went blank. She had thought Anakin to be dead, perished, and so she had lost the will to live. Without his love, and without him by her side, she was nothing. She had nothing to live for, so in turn, she went into the slumber that she was now somehow stuck in. She wondered if anyone knew of this state.
Death was the end for some people, but for Padme it was only the beginning as they set her into her final resting place, those hands folded around the necklace of Anakin's. She tried to move her fingers, to clasp around it tighter, in a effort to call out to him, to have him by her side...always. But she couldn't, it was impossible to do so. Even those that put her there wept, wiping their eyes as Senator Amidala had reached her final resting spot. They didn't understand how she could be taken so soon. Perhaps, she thought, this was a good thing. Years would pass, and she would awaken, and be able to save the man she loved and bring him back to where he should be. Bring him back to the state that was the man she loved, before Palpatine had taken his mind and destroyed it, corrupted it by words, and promises of unlimited power. Yes, for now, Padme would rest, and await the moment for her life to come back to her body, so that she could seek him out, and if he was still Darth Vader, then she knew what she must do. The battle would have to end, and one of them would truely have to die in the end. She only prayed for the best, because the worse case senario scared her.
Title: These are the moments
Fandom: Star Wars
Characters: Padme Amidala, Anakin Skywalker, Bail Organa
Prompt: Red
Word count:
Rating: PG-13 (for some sexual situations)
Author's Notes: I'm not sure what to say about this fic, but it's completely in my head and needed to get out. It MAY not make any sense to those fans that want to stick strictly to how it was lead to believe Padme should have thought and acted. It could prove as a shocker to some people. There is no dialogue in my stories, simply for the fact, I really don't know how to do it and really, I don't LIKE to do dialouge to be rather honest, I rather like to put he thought, she thought, things like that lol. It' s just my personal preference. All characters mentioned are copyrighted to Lucas LTD and I am just borrowing them, to put my creativity to use.
The night was warm, clear and calm as the lovely one with brown curly hair stood on the balcony, allowing the moon to cast her skin in a light that only one man could take the splendor in. She had smiled as she brushed her hair, gazing out onto the lakes of Naboo. This was what she always wanted, to spend time with her husband. Husband, the thought brought a wider smile to the young girls lips as she glanced back to gaze upon him. He had watched her every now and then as she brushed her hair, letting his eyes move over her form. She had stopped and glanced back to him, giving a soft laugh to him as she walked over and rested her hands on his shoulders. These were the short moments that they could spend together and be alone, without the watchful eyes of peoples around them to gaze at every single movement they made. She smiled and then slipped down into his lap, a soft contented sigh escaping her lips. He had simply wrapped his arms around her, placing a gentle kiss to her neck as he peered up at her, he laughed at her simple motions, but that was why he loved her, he loved who and what she was. Nothing could compare to her in his life, not even the Jedi Order. This was the moment that he lived in, with the memory of her, always plaguing his mind. She simply gave him a grin before forcing her entire weight on him to push him back down on the bed, as they toppled back he gave a grunt with his back hitting the matress. He reached up to touch her face in the most loving manner, to let her know he would always be there. No words were spoken, they didn't need to be, it was the touches, and the smiles, that showed their affections towards one another. How wrong this was, she knew this, but it never stopped her once things had begun to take their natrual course in the world.
They were one, Padme knew this, forever and always. If he died, her heart would stop. She couldn't live without her, and he couldn't live without her. All she wanted, at this very moment, was to get lost in the heated embraces and passionate kisses of her beloved. To lay with him, and to have him claim her as he had done so many times before within the private confines of her home in Naboo. He rolled her over, and looked down at her, that now longish hair framing his face. He looked like a angel with the light cascading over his features, his bare chest showing, as she placed her hands on it. It wasn't long before he took notice of that look in her eyes, the fiery red color of passion gleaming just beneath the surface, and that, is exactly what he did. He made love to his wife, with soft touches and delicate kisses to her skin. These were the moments that one should live for, to be one with each other. It was then that she heard the voices coming towards her door, and she looked at Anakin in panic, and pushed him down onto the floor and he slipped under the bed, with her quickly throwing her gown back on. She bit her lip as Bail Organa came into the room to deliver a letter from someone. There was no name on it, but it was sealed in a red envelope, and her brows perked just slightly at this, and then he was gone. Anakin was under the bed grinning, he knew who the letter was from. She shook her head and sat at the edge of the bed, as he slipped out from under it. Prying open the letter she began to read the words, her cheeks flushing a bright pinkish red color at the words. It was signed with the initial S, she looked to Anakin and a smile crossed her lips, as she stood and embraced him.
" Red, the color of passion, is what I see when I lay my lips to your own, and take your breathe away, " she said quoting the letters contents. All Anakin could do was laugh, and blush himself. Yes, these were the moments that everyone should enjoy.
since I can't find my other entries, and lj screwed em up anyway...i'm resposting them in my new journal.
