Title: Singer
Rating: G
Pairing: Yoosu
Summary: To Junsu, the most appealing things are also the most dangerous. Kind of a companion piece to
Composer. The light tap of keyboard keys could be heard echoing in the hallway. Junsu guessed that Yoochun must have had his earphones plugged in to not wake the others - Changmin's complaints about Junsu’s midnight singing were enough. There was a steady rhythm: one-two, one-two, one-two-three. Yoochun was a hard worker - Junsu liked that about him.
But Junsu didn't want to give Yoochun the chance. It had taken so long to get where he was, he couldn't let anything take it away - He couldn't lose focus now. Yoochun was a thrilling kind of danger that drew him in. He knew he couldn't give in - he just couldn't; there was too much to lose. But every small touch from the man spread venom in his veins.
So he sings. He sings because he hopes Yoochun can hear his message. Because God knows he's scared - scared to death almost. Yoochun is a special kind of poison. Each note he writes draws Junsu in and he can't help but sing along. Slowly, it begins to be too much to take. His head is dizzy and he has to draw his soul away from Yoochun's or he feels he might die. The bridge of the song ends there.
So he settles for singing, because letting himself fall for Yoochun would be dangerous. He wants to wait for the day when he knows he's ready. Subconsciously, he knows Yoochun is waiting too.
