What are your favorite hymns? I've been listening to them a lot lately .. again! ;] One of the best purchases that I believe I have ever made was the Hymns on CD. I constantly find myself going to them, regardless of the mood: happy, sad, distressed, touched. The hymns can touch you through any period. The beautiful voices of the Mormon tabernacle

I Believe In Christ has been my ultimate favorite since I was a little little little girl! It was one of the first ones I knew all the words too!
Lately I've REALLY fallen in love with Now Let Us Rejoice!!!
I've also got a soft spot in my heart for Our Savior's Love, Lord I Would Follow Thee, The Morning Breaks (you're right, it's AMAZING!!!), Abide With Me (#166), and realllllly into If You Could Hie To Kolob!

My dad's favorite is Because I Have Been Given Much, and then Be Thou Humble.

Mom's is O My Father. :)

My ultimate favorite primary song? I Feel My Savior's Love!!!! Closely followed by We'll Bring the World His Truth and Search Ponder and Pray. :)

I just realized that I never responded to this. Sorrry! I love so many hymns. It's difficult to determine favorites, but I just base it all on how they make me feel when I sing them, which is why I think that everyone's vary so widely.

I still have more hymns to learn, though. I haven't mastered them all, yet, so who knows what I'll be saying a year from now! ;P

Yeah I agree! On Sunday I realized how I've always been annoyed at "I Know That My Redeemer Lives" (#136), but lately I can't get enough. It's SO gorgeous. :)
