i was just thinking, and i KNOW this is very random, but can you put a person to sleep? like when your dog gets old and sick they put it to sleep so it won't feel pain anymore, but can you do that to people?

Umm people do it, but it's illegal. Like some doctors will do it for someone who has cancer or something and is in a lot of pain.

we're learning about that crap in Biomed Tech. It's called euthanasia or (assisted suicide) and you can do it if they're terminally ill and there's no chance that they could live OR if they have a living will that expresses their opinions in that that's what they want to do. otherwise, the doctor is obligated to keep a person alive no matter what the cost.
