You know, I really don't feel this way about any of the boyfriends I've been "in love" with. That's a highly idealized and sexist poem type thingy you've posted. Not that women are all powerful and "I am woman hear me ROAR" but they don't all have to find a boyfriend who will pay for their dinner and tell them that they're beautiful to be happy in life. Some women, and I hope that you'll grow up with the ability to stand on your own two feet and be one of these women, can pay their bills and be happy with themselves... The only men in my life that really affected me are My dead cat Oliver, Dodger, and MIke.... none of which I have romantic feelings for. I don't need a man to define me. I never have, I never will. I personally take offense to your entry.

no. That's an easy thing to say. As she is on my friends list and shows up on my friends page and I genuinely want to read what she has to say, I am going to be reading it. I can't foresee what it will say. I'm not telling her not to post it, I'm just saying that she's young and this is a deluded way of thinking. Something like this entry is a very common way for girls to think, especially if they have an older role model who never learned for herself how much she's worth. I am saying this not because I believe amanda to be weak in spirit. I'm saying this for the opposite reason.

The fact that both of you ride horses shows that you know how to wield at least an ounce of control and enjoy that.
