So my account was hacked tonight. I was playing all day since I got out of my last final and later, when I was chilling with Battlehampster I got a call from a guildie that said someone hacked my account and was emptying the guild bank (as I was the only active account with access to the Gbank as well as promotions). Our raid leader was hacked about three weeks ago and the ass took all of our sunmotes, HoD, and 50k gold from the guild bank vault. Then he disenchanted everything the guy had (he’s a shaman and had like 5 gear sets). To add insult to injury the hacker server transferred all of the RL toons to different servers via the bank card that he had on file with Blizz.

And even with all that asshatery he was fully back up and running last week (with all our stuff back) to lead us to our first Brutallus kill.

Have faith young padawan. How long have you had your ticket in with them?

Others had to put the ticket in since I couldn't access the account so this morning was the first time I was able to do it myself. They changed the password on my account so I could get on but most of my stuff has been sold on both 70's.

Yeah, theyve been able to track and restore this stuff since the days of EQ1.

Typically, its a guildie with your PW, that just ends up deciding to be a shithead. I believe Blizzard still restores and bans even in that scenario, Sony/Verant used to not. They just said "Dont give out your PW then."

Never gave my password to anyone so it must have been a keylogger. I probably clicked something stupid without thinking on the forums, that or it was the flash issue that I of course took days to update against.

Oh let me tell you how much I was bitching last night that it wasn't available right now. Not because they should have known better or anything but more wishful thinking.
