This has got to be one of the most dramatic regenerations I have ever seen. Ever. The fact he visits everyone for a last 'goodbye', the Oods coming to sing him into his next life, that he exclaims "I don't want to go!" before the end.
UGH. I haven't cried this hard in ages. I think I spent the last 20 minutes of the show just bawling my eyes out.
I liked David Tennant, but I didn't love him. I'm still sad to see him go, though. But wow. So excited for Matt Smith! He is the reason I bothered downloading and watching this generation of Doctor Who. *grins*
eta: Also, wow. I didn't even realise LJ Hook had picked that icon for me. So appropriate. Chris Ecclestone was my favourite Doctor of this new generation. I do think, however, that Matt Smith will quickly change that. *grins*
WORD. it was so saaaad. nine regenerating into ten was kinda, well, i dunno, just like a normal episode, a bit funny etc. but this was just so very, very sad. especially since everyone just knew he was saying goodbye :(
i didn't realise how much i loved david tennant as the doctor until fairly recently i guess. i'm okay with it though, mostly because i used to think that i'd never like ten after nine, ahahaa. so i guess we'll have to wait and see, but i still think that matt smith looks like a vampire!!
