Click to viewi can't choose my fave movie ever, it changes from time to time. but man, star trek 11? ticked all the boxes for me in 2009. sci fi. time travel. kirk. spock. kirk/spock. bones-kirk. it was awesome. scotty was a riot too. the shiny, the big explosions and the quotable moments, oh yes. i mean sure, it's not perfect. but i have yet to tire of this movie. it also made me go back and watch TOS, which i tried doing before but failed. i was really, really obsessed. probably still am, it was that amazing for me. it also wasn't a time where i would have gotten into a new fandom, it was a good time, i was looking forward to my european trip and actually only went to see it five times because i was saving money. i mean, i tend to get sucked into new fandom at a very rapid rate when i'm feeling like shit, it's my therapy, you know? but with ST, it was genuine awesomeness (not that other fandoms aren't, i suppose i don't get sucked in as fast when it comes to other fandoms). can't wait for the sequel in 2012, although i bet it probably won't be as good as this one :)
