The letting agent just got in touch with Jon to say that the reference checking is complete :D

So we're heading in to see them on Thursday evening, sign the contracts and hopefully get the keys.

Last night was a bit amazing. Saw Oceansize in Sheffield at The Plug, my second date of this tour after Birmingham on Monday. There's something exciting about heading into winter. Summer is lovely but it's easy, Winter is a challenge. I don't really get overly excited about the only things to get excited about in winter (Christmas, presents, New Year's Eve, snow...), more just the challenge of getting through the rainy, dark, cold nights that somehow still have some kind ( Read more... )

Feeling all retrospective tonight. I just saw the word yoghurt and it reminded me of a time in uni... which not many things do, surprisingly.

I had a fruit corner with me one morning in the lecture theatre. Balancing it on my legs wasn't the finest idea... so I'd no-one to blame but myself when all the yoghurty goodness spilt onto my trousers. ( Read more... )

I feel much happier today. Went out with my parents to the George and Dragon last night. Nothing too eventful; Dennis Irwin was there; starstruck drunks were there; they thought my dad was Dennis Irwin :P
