Various incarnations of Cesare appear in different canons! LET'S TALK! :D I'm really interested in how he appears in different places and idk we can talk about how much your character wants to kill him dead

RODRIGO BORGIA KILLED MY FAMILY. Like, Ezio hates him. A whooooooole lot. And I haven't taken Ezio from the end of the game, so he hasn't completely gotten over his anger yet. Also, I am assuming that Cesare would be a Templar since his dad is.
IF I CANON UPDATE AFTER THE RELEASE OF BROTHERHOOD, IT IS LIKELY THAT EZIO WILL WANT TO KILL CESARE. For killing his uncle and destroying his home.
Basically, the Borgias haet the Auditores. And the one remaining Auditore haaaaeeeet the Borgia. And Ezio himself is extremely dangerous, in practically every way. :Db
See, this is why someone should app me my bodyguard.
Personally, I'm totally fine with Ezio being updated to wanting to kill Cesare. |D;; He's got a bunch of people after him in canon, anyway. But I'd like them to interact before that happens (...which I assume would happen anyway because I'm planning on introducing him in the next few days). This Cesare is not a templar (although he can be a manipulative dick) but, uh, wouldn't be too surprised to hear that his dad killed Ezio's family. >>;;
ANYWAY IDK TL;DR Cesare is used to being the target of assassination attempts and I've had characters killed off in stranger situations. The templar thing will confuse the crap out of him, though.
Man, Methos is the type to stay out of those intrigues as much as possible. It's unlikely he would have been screwed over, but "helping" is a relative term.
Even so, with Methos being immortal and all, it's been a few hundred years since Cesare's time. No matter how Methos might have felt about him back then, he'd be more balanced about it now.
(Also, I should note that this isn't canon, but Methos does have a bad habit of meeting and getting to know important historical figures. I like to play with it in camp.)
If it helps, this Cesare is too young to have done much one way or the other. With everyone knowing older!him, he's going to be seriously wondering if they're even the same person. (I'm assuming he would have known him as a cardinal? Or warlord?)
But, please, come confuse him by knowing about him and his family! I'm excited to fuck with timelines!

So, which side was he on? The side helping the Borgias or the side being screwed over by them?
