Poor little A Jew. I'm sad :(
But I'm glad Annie's awake... and I'm assuming based on the title that little A Jew has to be okay, because the title implies telling him a story about his parents...
Oh, by the way, I'm going to call this kid A Jew from now on.

Haha! Brilliant. Glad you enjoyed the chapter even if it made you a little sad. But they're both alive, I mean, that's good isn't it? I couldn't kill them off (I don't think I've ever killed a character off - that might be a challenge, hmmm).
But yeah, the title implies a story being told and I probably will go down that route but not using the exact wording in the title because I totally gakked that from Knocked Up.
Thanks again for reading.

I definitely like your name better than my suggestions! There's too many possibilities for significance on the show and the other names that are potential significant are too insignificant to the main cast... *sigh*
Anyway, I liked what happened here - I think, if I were Jeff, I would totally react that childishly to Annie's parents. And I know better, in theory.
I kind of hope Annie might drop the Edison from the kid's name just because the initials AJEW are going to be hard to live with, Pierce aside. Discrimination, prejudice, and brutal behaviour from kids is alive and well sadly.
I am now less prepared for my heart to be carved out so if you do that by having Baby AJEW take a turn for the worse, I would not appreciate it. Just so you know.

Yeah, Annie's parents are a bit of a conundrum. It sounds like they were both terrible in some ways, but maybe not so much? I was under the impression they were separated or divorced, but I'm not sure about that either... And we know that Annie is in contact with some family since she mentioned her grandmother. *sigh* I hope Community clears that up some day.
As for the name, yeah, Annie might have to think about the kids name, but as I mentioned in another reply, she could quite easily argue that the 'W' be dropped instead - depending on what happens with her and Jeff.Very true! Despite my best efforts, I sometimes in think in utterly and horribly traditional ways. Also, maybe Baby AJEW will grow up and drop a name! Or learn to deal with adversity due to being teased ( ... )

I think that it would be easier for Annie to reconcile with her parents than say Jeff with his father. I have to say though that I think Show!Annie is much better at being independent and ok on her own. She doesn't shy away from the fact her parents let her down. Whereas Jeff is different in my eyes. He has issues, ignores it a lot of the time and I'm not sure he could ever be happy properly until he gets closure from his daddy issues. Just my opinion of course :)
Being traditional isn't horrible. I have a very traditional upbringing as has my fiance. Our parents are still together etc so I've never had to deal with whose surname I'm going to have etc. These two will get it right, they will, but AJEW might have to stick with his name for a bit longer for now :)
As for next chapter it will probably be tomorrow or Thursday x

I'm pleased that the readers seem to be sympathizing with Annie for the moment because she is definitely still not quite 100% trusting of Jeff and his ability to commit. Plus her hormones and emotions are all over the place - at the moment all she cares about is her baby which I hope the readers understand.
We'll see what happens when she finally meets Aaron in the next chapter.
And I LOVE that you picked up on the A.J. shortened version of his name. I was kind of chuffed that I managed to come up with it. Then the whole name was glaring at me with the joke of the initials there for the taking so I had to do it.
Thanks very much for reading and commenting. It means a lot to me.x
