Thank you. Yeah, I was kind of deliberately leading the leaders in to who the wife was and I just could not make it Britta, she just wouldn't do that to Jeff, Michelle on the other hand worked pretty well.

I definitely wanted the idea of drifting to come across so I'm glad it made sense. It made me sad writing it to think that they would lose touch because I don't think Jeff is that shallow anymore to not care deeply about these people, but I think that Slater could be just that manipulative to get him to move on from them. I don't know, but Annie couldn't not somehow get Jeff thinking again about their connection and how much he cared about her.

And YES! ER was one of my all time favourite shows. I just had to work it in there with me making Annie a nurse. *sigh*

As sad as it does make me I really do like the idea of Jeff and Annie drifting apart and then connecting later on in life when they've both matured a little. Of course it sucks that it takes a marriage ending but the way you've written them here, it's obvious that they're finally ready to be together.

I also knew there was a reason I hated Slater. Lol.

Aww, how sweet. Although, bah, bad Slater! I liked her well enough in the show at first, but her disdain of Jeff's friends and their friendships right off the bat--asking if he's their babysitter--really turned me off of her. Other than that, I liked her, and then she dumped him for no reason, later claiming she was spooked, though I never bought that. So, I can absolutely believe that this is how things would turn out.

I say again, bad Slater!

I, too, love texting in Community fics. In other fics? Meh. But I've learned to embrace it in Community fics and love it beyond belief. I need to do an all texting fic or something.

Anyway, this is a great fic! I love that Jeff is the one pursuing the relationship. I'm a sucker for that in this fandom.

Ach, I didn't mind Slater that much, she just didn't know much about having fun, like...at all! Bad Slater indeed!

Yeah I'm not a massive fan of texting in other fics, but Community always seems to have fic writers capable of pulling it off (not saying I'm one of those writers but there are a few out there who have written awesome text fics).

*sighs* I love the ending. Actually I enjoy the whole fic but the ending brought a smile to my face. (: I like the idea of them communicating via text. It works because Jeff's baby is his cell phone. Good job.
