Stealth Hide n Seek seems like a very Troy and Abed thing to do so I just went with it. And yeah, in my head Jeff is a little paranoid that he can't quite loosen up enough to be interesting and entertaining enough for his daughter so he bring in the reinforcements in Troy and Abed - because they would completely connect with Sophie on her level!

And yeah, I guess I could do one more one-shot on this, maybe from Annie's POV :) Keep your eyes peeled!

Really enjoyed this story. Very well written and emotionally engaging. While my ideal is that Jeff and Annie get their happily ever after without too much angst, I don't actually mind stories where they marry other people first before finding their way back to one another. I love each of these characters individually, so exploring these scenarios with each of them is appealing to me

I love that in your fics you often put these characters in situations I would never want them to actually go through, but you write it so beautifully that I'm immediately invested. While what happened to Jeff is heartbreaking that's life.

Sophie is too cute. Great job!

I liked this! It seemed far more realistic than a standard HEA fic. The idea that Jeff and Annie would both need to grow and develop before ending up together is more sensible.

The widower thing didn't bother me at all - other than the convenience of a death. I think I would have prefered a divorce plot wise, but maybe that is also a wee bit too neat? Who knows.

I love Stealth Hide and Seek! I want to play that now.

Oooh, did you read my other fic where Jeff was getting divorced? You might like that one if you'd prefer to see something like that bringing these two back together.

Glad this worked though for you. I don't think I meant to use death as a convenience but I suppose me killing off an original character without ever exploring anything about her was probably a bit of a plot device. I just hope that it still came across as someone who Jeff genuinely loved. This is really great constructive critique so thank you, I really appreciate it :)
