Base housing, what a joy :) hannibalectress February 5 2005, 21:38:59 UTC
As someone who lived in base housing for uhm 15 years I can tell you these things..
1) you are super lucky to get a corner unit! congrats!
2) The lead paint thing.. We've been in uhm 4 base houses that had lead paint and basically were told this, make sure the walls don't get wet/ stay wet and that the paint doesn't crack/ seperate from the walls.. Also don't lick the walls.. The only place you'll probably have wet wall problems is the basement (your place sounds alot like the 4 places we were in at various bases ) just put some of those little cups of (i think they are salts or something ) around down there, and make sure if you have window wells you don't let any snow get down in there.

Sounds like things are starting to turn out pretty well..
Good luck.
:)
PS Where is vinny going?
