last night was totally awesome!!

me, psn and his friend yoonhee went to the flamingo cantina for a freakin' SKA SHOW!!

first up, we had the upstart, they were okay.

next up, we had freakin' big d and the kids' table! woo!

sounds fun! though, you're right, it does give me horrific flashbacks to my "ska days" circa 1995-96. i was even in a ska band in high school for a little while. we were called "joey jetfire." *shiver* . . .

last night, we were all like, let's start a ska band! it would be a total throwback. ;)

now, all i have to do is buy a sax and we're all set. i'm a woodwind-type-person, everyone else is brass.

Sounds like fun. The best ska band that I have ever seen was Bim Skala Bim. They had this Floydian sound mixed in that was amazing. This was years ago so I don't know how they sound now.
