Parvati Patil was doing Prefect patrol, and while on her rounds, she smacked into someone, so she ended up stumbling back a couple of steps and managed to regain her balance.

She glanced up with an annoyed look on her face. "Oh, Derrick!" Rememebring that Gwenn had told them of their split, her look softened. "I nearly feel over there, goodness." She tossed her hair over her shoulder. "A pretty girl nearly knocked off her feet, it would have been so awful!"

Derrick chuckled. "We wouldn't want that," he smiled at her. "You alright?"

Parvati laughed. Derrick was a fun guy to talk to, and her eyes twinkled as she waved it off.

"I'm fine! How are you doing?" Even though she knew him and Gwenn had split on good terms, she was still concerned about him. "How's your day going so far?"

"I'm doing pretty well," he said, shrugging a little. "My day? It's been pretty boring, honestly," he laughed lightly.
