Hello~ A few people suggested I post some of the stuff I've been working on at school/college.
This was supposed to be a panel/screen kind of thing, but I ended up taping cardboard together with the help of my Mum the day before the deadline. Pretty much all I did in those 2 years was take photographs of me and my friends fucking about then use them for Art, so here's one of the results.
This is probably my last attempt at a solo self portrait, it's acrylic on canvas so there was no where near enough lubrication for the paint, and it just looks really nasty. I chose this totally gawthik horror question for the exam.
Ah, something I made at LCAD! This is a doll I made about 2 weeks ago. It took ages and gave me a really hard time, and it looks pretty shitty compared to what everyone else was making, haha. But I kinda like it.
Unrelated to college actually. Just realised I needed some direct observation, and it's so hard to find time to get your friends to sit for you - I was gonna do it on Friday but we ended up going out for Lunch. So I did this just now with a mirror. My hair is a lot darker in rl but it made the face too pale in comparison so I left it like this. Looks a bit like me but not that much. I think it's much better than it could have been since I used the tablet, but not as good as I wanted, ha. But then, is it ever? Stole oolong's idea of doing a self portrait haha but his is much better :]]
