Zacharias tried to focus on the large plate of food in front of him, but his attention couldn't help but keep wandering to a very frusterated girl at the next table over.
Ignore her, she'll give up eventually. She has to.
Five minutes pass and he grows irritated by the obviously unskilled clanking of needles. He rises from his seat and sits down beside her. He takes one quick glace across the room.
Nobody better be paying attention, he thought.
Within a matter of minutes, he had completed the first row of her scarf. His eyes lifting to her face every so often to be sure she was paying attention.
"There," he said, handing them back over. "Think you can handle it from there?"
