That kind of reminds me of a movie I watched. Something about Charlie Brown and Christmas. It's been a couple years so I don't know the exact title.

I'd go with the scarf for your Mum. Mum's are weird like that. Mine always gets something random that she only pretends to like so I don't feel bad.

If you have any clue what to give a 10 year old girl though, I'm all ears.
