yesterday was awesome!
hung out around campus with tess and walt for most of the day, although walt had class =[
then we when over to tom and clay's house and hung out with them, ally, and their cool neighbors. played a little rock band and DDR [on soft pads. wow, i had NOT done that in awhile.].

I REALLY considered getting my tattoo today because Mom's out of town for four days (comes in LATE Saturday, so technically five), and my siblings don't care. They wouldn't see me enough to really notice, anyways.

I wanted to get it, like, this afternoon, and then have it heal over those days Mom was gone. If I wanted it on my foot, I'd have to go barefoot, and I picked a convenient time, because I don't have to work.

But...I'm not sure if I can get behind it all the way, so I don't want to be stuck with something I'm not really sure of some time from now. Life without regret is fun, but I'm a pussy. I'll admit it.

yeah, you have to make sure it's something you really want. i've had this one planned since i was 15 or 16, except i wanted it on my wrist. needless to say, i have tiny little wrists and that's a big word, so i just picked a better tessa-inspired placement.

yeah, i mean i know the woman who did mine because i was there for tessa's first. i just know a lot of people who've gotten work done at sovereign collective, it's all been awesome. i know i want this piece to be pretty perfect and it seems like his work would be more suited to it than the studio 13 girl. i haven't really seen much of her work besides the lettering she's done on us. i will continue to go to her for smaller stuff, but i want to try going to sovereign collective at least once.
