so in the event jamis and i stay apart for good, i'm thinking about moving into a dorm at CCAD. it would blow nuts because i hate the idea, but it's either that or move back home and have an hour bus ride to school every morning. i have three classes that start at 8 AM each week. which means i catch the bus at 7 AM. which means i probably wake up

With living on-campus comes a lot of benefits for your case. For instance, free transportation, if you can do buses with your schedule/location. You can go to places that aren't classes, too.

As for Poppy...you are kinda at an end there. I really don't know how well you could hide such an animal in a dorm (but then again, people hide booze/drugs, so...). Maybe if you know someone that lives on-campus but not in a dorm, they can house Poppy there?

Do you know what happens when you try to keep an opossum in a refrigerator?
It isn't something any of us would like to think about.

Moral of the story: Keeping pets gets found out real quick in dorm life.

well, all CCAD students get to ride the bus for free. poppy has never escaped or bitten anybody or anything. it's sad.

As much as I hated the dorms, it was the best thing ever...if you live off campus you'd be missing out on making lots of new friends and plenty of memorable experiences...trust me on that one. I know someone who did not live in the dorms her first year, and I wish she wouldve for her own sake, she didnt do so well. The dorms will become a love hate relationship with you :D
