I can't find a citation to support the notion that people generally interact with people who value similar social groups to themselves.

This is the sort of problem that drives me slowly mad.

I've been seeing a lot of virtual world studies today.
I'm curious as to how virtual gender is treated.
Women are treated differently to men, worse in many domains, better in some, individual experiences can and will vary dramatically.
I wonder if you did a compare and contrast on the following, what would come out of it:

All boardgames can be viewed as a really complicated equation describing the winner. Some of the terms in the equation are random and some are decided on by the players, all players can look at the whole equation anytime but they might have to wait for some terms to be resolved before they can delcare other ones.
