Writer's Block: It Sounds Better When You Say It

In Japan, when you introduce yourself, and when you request a favor or job of someone, you say, "Yoroshiku onegaishimasu." There is no direct English equivalent for the context it's used, and I sure wish I could use it at work in the US. In fact, I wish I could use the other work-related greetings in the US.

when you introduce yourself isnt it: "watashi wa _____ (name) des." ???? O.o

I always used, "___ to mooshimasu. Doozo, yoroshiku onegaishimasu."

Since the only other language I even have any knowledge of is AmSlan, I think I'm out of this particular 'game'. *grins*
