CRIMINAL MINDS IS BACKKKKKKKKK YOU GUYS.
An hour later, I give my thoughts. SPOILERS.
Okay, I'm going to break this down by character.
+ JJ. Oh, God, she was GLORIOUS. Her crack about bureaucratic shit was an obvious crack at CBS, which was great. AJ seriously outdid herself in this episode. I teared up when she was talking to Billy Flynn on the radio. I was SO PROUD OF HER for going and doing that even though she was obviously terrified to do so. I'm going to miss her so, so much.
+ Morgan. I'm seriously hoping he does not adopt this child, because that little kid cannot act. I will continue on about Ellie in a moment. But oh, man, Shemar was on it tonight. I could really feel the pain that Morgan was going through - being forced to make a promise that he had a small chance of keeping, having to deal with the weight of that... gah. When he snapped at Garcia, I knew that this was going to be a rough episode. My heart melted when he apologized. :)
+ Ellie Spicer. I wanted to punch this kid in the face in the s5 finale. Why the hell would I want her around now? a;sldkfj I was berating her on twitter for being a robotic borderline-sociopath, and then she was like, "LOL I'M SECRETLY A BADASS GENIUS AND TOLD THE NEIGHBORS, SO FUCK YOU." So then I couldn't completely hate her. But god what a terrible actress.
+ Reid. Oh my sweet genius. I went, "DID REID JUST MAKE A JOKE?" when he was talking to Garcia. (Garcia: "How's my main man?" / Reid: "Well, assuming you're not talking about me...") Oh darling I love you and your cryptic jokes.
+ Everyone else. ...Nothing really stood out to me about the other characters in this ep? I need to rewatch; I was seriously spasming about halfway through.
+ THE PREVIEW FOR NEXT WEEK: TEARS IN MY EYES. I seriously cried the second Reid was like, "They're just taking you away?" in that heartbroken voice. Crush my soul to pieces, why don't you. Fuck CBS.
