ancafe concert report of sorts
uh, ancafe concert x fanime
but mostly an cafe ;D
warning: lack of attention to grammar and nonsensicalness all around
uh, I guess family-friendly language is a plus? I saw a couple kids who looked under 10 at the concert.
will also be adding to/editing occasionally
My friend ariad and I decided that we weren't hxc enough to go line up 5 hours ahead, so we didn't get into the line until we were coming back from McD's and the line had just started moving... the line was endlesssssssssss D: I had no idea so many people were there :OOOOOOO So we got to the end of the line, but soon enough, we were no longer then end of the line :D (If you're Marleen and/or Jordan, I was the one with the shades in front of you... and I was behind the lady with the Stitch hat and the bloody face). and I also saw phenphenny in line. (I was the one with shades, a red jacket and bandana, and jeans who and pointed at you and was like "hey, I've seen you on LJ! uh, ph-ph-phenphenny? 8D" Sorry if it seemed kinda rude/sudden, I was having a brain fart/spazz moment. You're a lot cuter and tinier in real life. xD ) I was kinda fail in line as well since I didn't know any Beatles songs or "Pop Star" by Ken Hirai (asdfl;ihserg;iljaerjip Marleen and Jordan, you two are awesome 8D) and what was more fail was that we prolly knew 12 An Cafe songs between the four of us xD Yeah, so I waited about an hour in line, but it was moving most of the time. There were people checking your bags for cameras at the door, so didn't take any pics while I was inside.
I got in the venue about 8:05? The merchandise table only had CD/DVDs left, so I didn't buy anything. After wandering around the lower levels, we decided to go up and get balcony seats. There were no railings on the stairs going down into the seats... so scary if you had heels on D: thanks to whoever I didn't wear heels. but it got kinda boring in the balcony since everyone just kinda sat there, so we moved down to the floor level and just mingled into the back of the crowd sometime during the middle of the concert. More fun there ;D
Opening with Ramen and Rice and they ended about 8:30? ish
all I remember was that they played Haruka Kanata, Ready Steady Go, and a bunch of other songs that I didn't recognize :'D They were really good and talented though :D
intermission took foreverrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr D:
started about 8:45 ish and went until about 9:50ish
The concert venue wasn't anywhere near full (as in sardine stuffed) and you could see a great deal of empty seats and empty space on the floor (standing space)

they basically stood there, waved, posed, went to instrument
The screaming when Kanon came out was a lot louder than when Teruki and Yuuki came out, but the screams for Miku were the loudest.
Oh, and Kanon had his lip piercing in, and Miku had his labret piercing in. (LOL, so random XD)

(uh, I'm not that big of an An Cafe fan, so I didn't recognize the majority of the songs they played there. *is shot* All the time I was hoping they played Ryuusei Rocket or Cherry Saku Yuuki since those two are the ones I know best (aka. actually know any lyrics to) So if someone could fill me in, that would be great)

I was really happy that they played this since I probably know the most of the this song than any other song they played (yay, chantable chorus!) :D luls, I pulled an epic fail the first time around by getting my trig functions mixed up. I mean, who says "sine, tangent, cosine"? but some I did some intense shouting of the first two rows of the periodic table in Japanese xD
They leave the stage...
crowd starts chanting, but I think half the people were chanting "en-co-re"(uncle ray!) and the other half was chanting "an-ca-fe"
Then An Cafe comes out and they've changed into their tour t-shirts
Miku says something to the crowd about smiling...
"Are you having fun"
"are you smiling?"
"I want to see your smile"
....somethingsomething about last song for sure....

song ended, An Cafe members took a bow, and I saw some water bottle flying in a giant arc towards the back of the crowd... I kinda wished they threw guitar picks or drumsticks or something the keyboard, yesssssss
Miku also said something along the lines of "We will be back!" (can't remember now)
and then the lights went on and everyone started leaving...

Yuuki was all spazzy and headbanging and moving all around his little keyboard stage... you could see the keyboard stand and the water bottle on the ground next to him shaking from all the way up in the balcony
When the camera focused on Teruki, you could see that he was singing along :3
Kanon and Takuya ran around to trade places on their opposite sides of the stage a lot
For one song, Miku had a tambourine and I think he ended up throwing that and the mic stand up in the sir behind him in the middle of the song and some stage assistant had to go get it. He also did a lot of running around during the last few songs
They're all so skinny and tiny and cute 8D and cutest Engrish evar 8DDDDDDDDDDD
It was loud, even though I was towards the back of the balcony at the beginning.. and that's prolly the farthest one can get from the stage and still see them. I could feel the vibrations through my seat the whole time. Some of the higher guitar solo notes also didn't sound that great through the speakers. and my ears were ringing when I got home. oh well, it was an awesome concert :D
There were lots of good looking people with crappy looking clothes/fashion sense. Since when did wearing Lolita Kisama SARS masks bacome a fashion statement? :/ (no offense if you do...)

and yeah, I took notes during the show (even in the crowd) using my McD's receipt, some random bookmark I picked up during the day, and my not so trusty sharpie ;D
