just out of pure curiosity - are you a pastor, or spiritual leader of some sort? you speak with such authority. it can be unsettling.

Unsettling? I hope that's a good thing! lol I just have an intense passion for the Word of God and for the relationship I have with Him and Jesus. It's great to know the authority that you have through Jesus. I spent much of my life living in depression and sadness, just wandered around hoping to find something to live for. i found it and it's been 6 years since and it's time I share what I've learned! I go to a wonderful church in Atlanta, GA the website is www.savedandgay.com it's been a home for me when lots of stuff in my life went topsy turvy. what about you? what's your story?

uh, well - i grew up United Methodist (but a charismatic spirit-filled version). 10 years of Christian school, and a year at a Methodist college where i met my first gf. when i came home with a gf, my faith community rejected me, and by that time i had pretty much rejected them as well. that was around 1996. i didnt come back to God until summer 2007. i am now a member of MCC Tampa and have been for about a year. my faith is a very important facet of my life. i guess though that i subscribe to a progressive Christianity that most Christians cannot identify with. i am a pluralist, believing that there are many paths to God, and mine happens to be Jesus.
