"That seems to be the way, doesn't it?" Fred asked as she looked up at Rupert, not sure whether to be amused or a bit ticked off at Cordy and the Powers. "'Oh don't worry - you'll figure it all out sooner or later, so don't worry.' Meanwhile, we're popping wings out when we least expect it and hitting our heads on ceilings ( ... )

"It's all right, love," Giles said as Fred apologize for not knowing he was exhausted. It wouldn't have changed things - he would've still made love to her but he needed to be with her to show her he was really there. He ran his hand through her hair and softly sighed. Fred still seemed a bit down and he wanted to fix it, if he could ( ... )

Fred smiled when Rupert said he would call down once they woke up later to have the horses made ready for them to go riding. It was almost something out of one of the books that her mother used to read late at night, that she had stolen once or twice out of curiosity. The man with the secret estate and a stable and servants. She looked forward to going out riding with him, though, and just spending time with him again ( ... )

Giles had always been a fan of dreamless sleep. He'd seen too many tragedies during his lifetime, and they always seemed to haunt his dreams. Rarely was there a dream where something happy happened. But this time the dreams decided to go away and allow him to truly rest. His body needed to the time to recover from being dead, ant then not dead. He was also tired with worry, wondering if Fred was ever going to recover from this ( ... )

Touching Rupert was something that Fred knew she'd never tire of, and feeling him react to her, seeing the expression on his face as she stroked him, was amazing. She was doing this to him. He was reacting because of her ( ... )

Giles caught his breath and gave Fred a small smile. "It was brilliant, love. You're rather good at it," he said before softly kissing her. When he pulled away, he smiled at her suggestion. "I like that idea."

He stood up in the bathtub and helped Fred up. Pulling the drain, he then turned on the shower so they could rinse off. Giles then turned the shower off and stepped out of the tub. He grabbed a towel and helped Fred out of the tub before wrapping the towel around her.

Once they were dried off, Giles lead her out to the bedroom and pulled her down to the bed with him. "You feel so nice," he whispered in her ear before nuzzling her neck. "Have you ridden horses before? I meant to ask you before but got distracted by this rather beautiful angel."

Once they were cleaned off and dried off, Fred let Rupert take her out to the bedroom and happily snuggled up against him on the bed. It was so nice to be able to do this with him. She hoped that no matter what they had to do and wherever they went that they'd always have time to just be together like this ( ... )

When Arthur returned with the things, Giles smiled. "That will be all Arthur. If you could, please call up here when you leave," he called back. He heard Arthur say he would, followed by the sounds of him carrying the bags to the kitchen. Giles smiled at Fred and softly kissed her ( ... )

Fred let out a soft whimper when Rupert kissed her neck. It had been intense enough making love with him before, but knowing now that she could read what he was feeling and know what he was thinking made it all that much more ( ... )

When Fred mentioned the bark enchiladas, Giles raised an eyebrow. He wanted to ask what she meant by it, but from the way she ducked her head, it was rather obvious she didn't want to chat about it. Instead of saying anything, Giles reached across the table and squeezed her hand before going back to his food.

"We should do something tomorrow night. There's different things to do here in Bath. Perhaps a nice dinner?" He suggested before taking a bite of his pasta. He wasn't worried about money since he had some in the local bank. It didn't seem they knew he was deceased so he could easily withdraw what he had in there. Come to think of it, perhaps he'd take it all out and set up a fund for Dawn. The young girl would need money for uni.

"There's a playhouse in town. They are always shows running. Some of them are better quality than others, but we could have dinner and take in a show," Giles said before taking a sip of his wine. "I know the bloke who runs it and I'm rather sure we can get tickets."

Fred was kind of glad when Rupert didn't ask about the bark enchiladas. Explaining them would have been a bit embarrassing, considering that she hadn't just used bark. She ate a bit more of her pasta instead - it really was delicious. She wondered if cooking was something that Rupert had just picked up or if someone had taught him ( ... )

Giles was glad Fred agreed to his idea of going to see a show. He hadn't been to one in years, and he was rather looking forward to it. "It's a bit formal, but I'll Arthur get you a dress for it." He thought for a moment and then shook his head. "Or we could go into town tomorrow and you can pick out your own dress. I think there's a dress shop there. I haven't been in Bath for almost a year ( ... )
