it's pretty awesome. I still have my account, even though I'm in Sydney - I took my bookshelf down before I moved, but I have a pretty big stockpile of credits, so I just have my books shipped to my mom and she sends them to me in my care packages. my username there is just "meredith", put me as your referring member and I get a bonus credit when you've got 10 books posted :)
