What makes you less deserving of friendship then anyone else? You're an amazing person. You have a compassionate heart and don't like to see living creatures in pain. You're deep and thoughtful and caring, and just because you push people away doesn't mean you're worth any less than they are. Unlovable? Pfft. I think I speak for most of us when I say that you are anything but.
