I just woke up to find two of my betta's dead, and one close to death! All of them are in the same tank, with dividers. I took the one remaining one and put him in a bowl with water from my healthy, established 80 gallon. I noticed them looking a bit wierd yesterday and trying to jump out of the water. Temperature, maybe? When I can see a reason for bettas trying to jump, it's usually a temperature thing (but then again I can't always work out why they're unhappy). I've never used coppersafe - I've heard you can use it safely with bettas, but I don't think it's widely available here (and if it is I wouldn't bother looking for it anyway).

That's one of my big objections to divided tanks - one gets sick, all of them do. =( Sorry to hear about your betta-kids.

The temperature's lower then it could be, the tanks not heated, but it stays at 74 degrees....It's not like it changed drastically, they all just died over night! :(
