Going to Bemidji was such a relaxing, last-minute vacation. It was so nice to get away from my dad and the stress of living and being bored in the suburbs. The country is such a nice place to be. wicked statues. its been a long time since i've been to bemidji, i was just recalling some memories of being there a few years ago while reading the star tribune a few days ago. they did a week long thing on stuff happening in red lake. www.startribune.com/redlake

I really like the bottom statue. I belive its tag said the name of it was "Eagle Boy." Bemidji is such a cool little city.

I can't believe the Red Lake shootings happened over a year ago. I remember dropping my book as the breaking news came on the TV. I was shocked.

ahahahahahahahahahahaha. I just started thinking about what it'd be like to be my great grandfather, traveling through bemidji back in the old days, seeing the paul bunyan and babe statues and just.... what the fuck was going on in his head?

It'd be soo crazy to see those statues for the first time, way back in the day. They're so tall and dominating, I wonder if people were scared of them or if they just simply hated them or maybe they liked them. I have no idea.
