Thank you so much! The ending was actually what I started with, oddly enough; I could hear Damian's voice in my head and I knew that I had to find something to go with it.

I like capturing the fleeting moments in stories, which is why I write a lot of drabbles and even haikus - I like the complexities of which words to choose, how to attain a steady rhythm and flow, and which details to record versus which details to leave to the reader's imagination.

I wish I could write multiple pairings, but my brain doesn't have enough of an attention span to be able to cope. I have to concentrate on one pairing at a time!
