I read Oedipus in High School and loved it!

My sister just told me to only read the first book in the Agnes Prine books, if I love Jack Elliot, whatever that means :P

I'll definitely add the ones I haven't read to my list! Thanks :D

I have no idea what you've already read, so this is just a random list of good books:

The Book Thief by Markus Zusak
Body Movers series by Stephanie Bond
Silent in the Grave by Deanna Raybourn (3 book series)
The Graveyard Book by Neil Gaiman
My Booky Wook by Russell Brand
Sookie Stackhouse series by Charlaine Harris
Thursday Next series by Jasper Fforde (first book The Eyre Affair)
The Hollows series by Kim Harrison (first book Dead Witch Walking)

I watch True Blood but haven't read the books. I'll definitely have to check them out!

THANKS!

I'm looking for things to read too.
I just finished The Secrets Lives of Bees and it was an amazing book, if you haven't read it give it a try.

I almost bought that at Barnes and Noble but ended up getting a cook book instead :P

Definitely will check it out.

The number one book I always recommend is Anna Karenina, it's long but soo worth it. A Thousand Splendid Suns is good as well.

I borrowed it from a friend. I actually didn't think I was going to like it at first but you fall in love with the characters so easily and its an amazing read, very eye opening too as to how the south was in the 1960s.

I've actually read Anna Karenina, well sorta. My grandmother who recently passed away read it to me when I was a little girl. She use to read to me all the time when I was little classics like Shakespeare and such but that was one book that she read to me and my sisters, it was like a requirement in our family. She actually read it to me in Russian to which was really cool. Though I have been meaning to reread it because I'm sure I would get a lot more out of it now then I did when i was nine years old.

I've heard good things about A Thousand Splendid Suns. I will definitely have to check it out! Thanks for the rec :)

That's so cool! I bet it would be awesome to hear it in its original language.

I think it's definitely worth a read again :P

Have you read The Gargoyle by Andrew Davidson? I really enjoyed that. Also, for something light: Something Borrowed and Something Blue by Emily Giffin.
