or you can go to a medical university - they are on a come and serve basis
i had to go to one for my tooth one time

There's a church health center downtown. You could look it up online, because I don't know the number. But I think it's like you pay what you can. I had to go there a while back bc I don't have any insurance either, and it's really really cheap.
I really hope you get into Memphis, too. I love it there...most of the time. ;) And if you do get in, they have a student health center on campus, and that's where I go now. You pay according to your income if you have no health insurance, and since my income is so low, I pay nothing. Absolutely nothing except like $7 for medicine if I need it. Anyways, good luck, man. We have a clinic on Broad Ave, and one in Orange Mound, and one near where Brad lives..
we see people who don't have insurance all of the time, everything's based on a sliding fee of how much a person makes. So all you'd have to pay is like $20.
I'm sure you probably don't need this information now.. but in case you do at some point.
