69 - NDK CON-REPORT
(this isn't my 69th post but lol I thought it would be fitting.)
Back from NDK, and finally finished this silly report.
T H U R S D A Y

Waking up early, Crona and I ate a really stupid breakfast (for her, eggs and peas. for me, just eggs.) and got ready to leave for the airport. When we got there I was sooo excited, until we started going through security and then I realized I needed to un-pin my suspenders that I worked..so..hard on, to pin, and I was like...*frowny face* Oh well lol. Our connecting flights were really stupid and we didn't get to the hotel until after 7pm.
Kidd was bein' cute LOL and Claus and his dad(flint) were epic as per usual. They drove us to NDK and we got in the room and we went to slep..eventually. I fell asleep at like 10pm and they stayed up late working on cosplay.

I woke up at 7:40am and just..couldn't sleep, lol. So I woke up, ate poptarts, and took my vitamins like the good gentlemanly man I was.
I really wanted to get out of the room because Crona and Kidd were being SO FUCKING CUTE THAT I JUST COULDN'T TAKE IT ANYMORE I NEEDED AIR FROM ALL THE CUTE AGH! When it was nine, I whipsered at them to wake up, and slowly got myself ready.
I took a gulp of Chai tea (the only tea besides iced tea i've ever had) and it was sooo gross that I almost threw up. *pulls hat down in shame*
Upon arriving downstairs I felt really awkward because...well, I was alone. And everytime I'm alone I just feel like AUGH MUST GO BACK UPSTAIRS. But as I was heading back to the elavators I saw my be eff eff and she ran up to me and practically glomped me but I just kinda stood my ground and calmly hugged her. XD I missed her sooo much and I WAS BEING SO CALM AUGH.
So I hung out with her and her mom for a minute then got a banana and cereal and a drink for my sister cuz she was all feeling faint. XD
After giving her the stuff I went back with Sam, I had a random burst of energy and decided "Hey, since I'm always calm at NDK I should try and be a little hyper, right?" Wrong. I ran after her down the hall and had a nasty spill and scuffed my knees pretty badly. Luckily our room wasn't far lol so I went back and applied soap and water and pressure with tissue to stop the bleeding...yeah, really bad rug burn. I soon found out we had no bandaids, or neosporin. Uhm. DILEMA. I stole our Death the Kidd's medical tape and taped tissue to my knees.

Went back downstairs and walked around a lot with Sam(who was cosplaying Enma) and we saw JEN! I waved to her while she was getting a picture and totally made her ruin it by her waving back to me. I got interviewed MAINLY because HOSHIT I was talking to a hot girl/amazing cosplayer LOL oh Jen, how I love to stand in your shadow. Anyway, eventually I got tired so I went and sat down with her mom and I talked with her a bit. I found out some cool things, some sad but awesome things, and I almost cried. Jen came around and sat down with us to chat. No surprise that EBK found her shortly after and they chatted for a bit, and of course he looked at me and was like "Get up." Gosh he's so demanding. But, being a gentleman, I cannot refuse the request of a beautiful lady.

Afterwards I gave him a hug and told him how much I appreciated him taking my pictures every year, because he's the only one that gets good ones. XD He said I was adorable and shy, and asked me what I cosplayed last year, I told him Lucas, and he was all like "Oh yeah! I remember you! Gosh every year, I see you, and you're just so..." and he was making this weird motion with his hands and just said I was cute and that I could call him Al and that he wanted to take more pictures of me. XD He also made a comment about how it was creepy cuz I was a little girl, but he said "But you're cosplaying a BOY so it's like YAOI" and hugged me...oh photographers! How they amuse me. Oh yeah, he also asked if my bandages were part of the costume, I told him no. He was shocked. XD
Continued to sit with Mrs. Linda and Jen until Sam and her friend came around and sat with us. Then Kaitlin visted and sat down and we all had a good time. Jen even made a really scary round around this group because one of the cosplayers harrassed Sam at a different con.
We were waiting cuz the hotel wouldn't let Sam and her mom check-in, so we went to wait in line (again actually) and it was all for nothing. Sigh.
We got hungry so I walked to Wendy's with Sam's mom and we got meals and got the room YAY so we went up there to eat. It was fun, and Sam was constantly telling me I was dead, because I was quiet...*is always quiet*
Watched Sam put her Arceus costume on, it was quite funny. Her friend didn't know I was Legal or the series, but she guessed European 1950's, which was pretty awesome. (she studies history and stuff) So we decided to be gentlemen and constantly tell Sam how to be a lady, which didn't really end well. We got glue sticks and other things thrown at us. Charming. Eventually she got it on and literally the second she walked out someone gasped and yelled 'OH MY GOD THATS SO AWESOME." Haha~
Getting in and out of the elavators was actually a lot easier than it could have been.
I followed them for a while (and accidentally got in some pics) until I saw a familiar girl in pink and right next to her was a tall Ness. At first, seeing this, I thought "Earthbound cosplayers? Really?" until I really looked at the girl's face and realized it was my one and ONLY Flora! Right as I deduced this a girl walked up to me and asked if I knew a Vikki and I was like "LOL Yes, and I see her now, thank you!" Haha, the timing was very silly.
Turns out they were looking for me for an hour...was I really up there for that long? Didn't seem like it. D:

Locking arms with my Flora, we went to find a man by the name of Mark, our Layton. Why? Just to ask if he'd be Layton and that Flora found me. XD We walked around a lot and I talked with her and Knives Chau and Ness and her awesome friend who's name escapes me. They were awesome brawlers from what I heard though. Everyone felt so bad about my knees LOL and Flora totally fell in love with my magnifying glass, which we named Andy.
Outside I took my bandages off and man did it hurt. We also had this creepy guy give us free cheap toys. Anyway, we got some hilariously silly pictures out there and picked up questionable things, put them back and pointed to the sky! Going back inside, we went to the restrooms and posed in front of the Gentlemen's room and Ladie's room, or I should say LADIE room. *wink* Anyway, walking around more, we found our Layton. We made funny jokes about my knees (One of which Layton said I slid into the con on my knees, I told him I was chasing puzzles) and told him we were going to Wal-mart to DROP ME OFF FOREVER *ahem* I mean, to get bandaids because they needed food as well. We found out Layton cut his hand and needed bandaids as well. XDD

Heading out I met up with Claus who was cosplaying Lance and I told him I was going to Walmart with Flora. He gave me my pocketwatch and oh how I love it <3 It's GOLD and has the MOLENTARY EXPRESS ON IT. FOR REALS ok no lol jk but it does have a train on it. So we left, and Knives Chau got a cute picture of me and Flora walking to her car (oh god she's gonna driiive....) and I picked out a pink flower for her and it was so cute, like her. <3 THEN KNIVES ATE IT. *sob*
We got in the car and TO MY HORROR I could not buckle. IT WAS JUST LIKE WE ROLEPLAYED FLORA *SOBSOB* Thank goodness there wasn't really any highways involved. We drove to walmart without too much difficulty and spent some quality time there. I got some chocolate scented Axe because the body mist I have smells like flowers, not very manly. Also got bandaids and neosporin. After getting all that we left and stopped by a Wendy's, unfortunately, we got lost. The directions back to the hotel weren't quite right, and we ended up on...well, Dam Road. Which lead us to Aurora. *laugh* Obviously, none of us know Denver very well. Knives went to get directions from a gas stations and...poor thing! She couldn't open the door, it was too heavy! A nice man opened it for her and when she came back, she told us that very same man gave us directions back to NDK! ...unfortunately again, it lead us not to the hotel, but ehrm, Broadway Str. I believe. We asked for directions many times, and eventually did find our way back, but no before getting scared of teenagers, singing along to gay music, laughing at street names, (rocking the car with ness shhh) eating cold fries, hurting my knees cuz I got exited about an icee that I din't bother to get, and many manly shed tears.
When we got out of the car Flora got on her knees and thanked the lord...I think lol. I wasn't paying attention. *is lame*

Our next plan was to give Mark bandaids...unfortunately AGAIN we did not see him, and then Flora and Knives and Ness and that awesome person had to leave. I walked around a bit and hung out with Lance, I found Mark eventually and gave him some bandaids. He commented on my knees again and we talked about dreams and nightmares and how Luke got mauled by a pack of wolves, which led me to tell him about a nightmare I had where I was Luke and got eaten by a werewolf and Layton did NOTHING. Ah well, we had some laughs and went our ways.

I got tired and went back to my room and hung out with Lance, who stayed with us because his dad(flint) was all paranoid about stuff. I had neosporin on my knees so I slept with my legs dangling off the bed. I was in the middle.

I woke up due to a foot in my side. It was very early and LANCE decided to be all cute and cuddle in a ball and be all up in my business. I tried getting closer to Crona but I had to be on my side, and when I turned I got neosporin all on the back of my leg...eehw. So I very groggily got up and omg it was so cold. Like. Really. Really. Cold. This morning was so much more slower than the last and I had a hard time waking up. Eventually Crona woke up and we chatted for a while cuz I was procrastinating about taking a shower for fear that it's hurt my knees. WHICH IT DID. After my quick shower I put a crap load of bandaids on them and hoped for the best.
Saying bye for now to our Lance I walked around with Crona for a while until I spotted that tophat above everything, I waved ta-ta to Crona and met up with the professor. I was carrying a rose for my Flora and people got pictures of me with it...oi, I'm sure they thought I was from Ouran Highschool Host Club. *frown* We waited at the entrace for Flora and agh...Layton remembered me from last year. I was hoping he wouldn't! Well, he thought I was Ness, but that was my sister. I told him I was the Lucas and he was like "Oh right!" end of discussion lmfao I'm glad we didn't talk about my first impression. *is so embarrassed by that*
Flora came back! <3 And we had a glorious reunion and walked around and got plenty of pictures of us taken, and two fangirls who LOVED Layton but pretty much ignored me and Flora. As did most people, lol. Layton was quite the gentleman though, and almost everytime someone asked him for a picture he would motion to us and say "What about them?" Haha~ He had a bunch of picarats too, and Knives Chau and Flora brought chocolate coins as Hint Coins.
The one in the middle is a friend of mine named Kelsey. Well, more of my sister's friend, but she's still awesome.

We missed one of our elavators because a certain man in a top hat was taking a picture of Princess Tutu. He simply replied with "You know how I feel about ballerina's!" ...no I don't, professor. Please enlighten me.
We went around, gave puzzles, and generally had fun. Then we decided to walk and find some place to eat, and had to run across the HIGHWAY jk idk what it was but it was scary. Layton and Knives ditched us every time. XD
We went to Subs & Clubs, where you eat subs during the day, and dance at night. LOL nah idk it was pretty cool though and some guy was like "Are you guys in a play?" I nodded but Layton spilled the beans and told him we were from an anime convention. *pout*

We went back to the con and much more fun was had. Sadly, our Layton went to get changed into his other costume. So we were without our professor, again!
Eventually we did find another Layton, and he had a giant head! He was in the atrium, being lead away. We started to chase him but HE WAS RUNNING FROM US OMG and we finally caught up to him in the hallway. He took his head off, looked at us and immediately yelled "LUKE!" and put his head on for a picture. After we got a couple pics, he left. I gave Flora a big hug because he completely ignored her!

I...uh, honestly don't remember what happened after that. Curse my memory! I do remember having a lot of fun though. I do remember TOTORO and that Ike that called Flora "The girl" and couldn't remember who she was. XD
When it was getting closer to night we met up with our Layton who was that guy from one of the Tales games again, with her...HER?? I mean HIS friend Laef if that's how you spell it lmfao. We were with our Masked Man and we decided to play HIDE AND SEEK cuz we're just that awesome. We wanted more people to play with us, but we couldn't find more.
So first go, me and Flora were the seekers. Everyone went to hide, and we found Knives Chau first pretty fast. She was up against a wall, and we tried to get her to tell us where everyone else was. She didn't say anything as I suggested we go down Rape Road, and sure enough, we found Layton huddled underneath that weird table thing. Unfortunately, we didn't find the MM or Laef when the time was up.
Next we were some of the hiders. We didn't tell them but we hid together, and Flora had the BEST hiding spot ever. I'm not going to spoil where it was though. I will however say that I laughed. A lot. And was surprised more people didn't notice us.
At first the only clock we had was my watch, and I accidentally winded it at some point lol!! I fail so bad sometimes.
We hid there both times, and no one found us. No one found the MM either lolol. XD
Either way, what happens in the hiding spot, STAYS in the hiding spot. Like in vegas.
Finally gave some luvins back.

Our Layton left to get into casual clothes and we hung out at our second favorite poll and Eurobeat King took pictures of me and Flora, where she kissed me on the cheek and it left a mark! He thought we were so cute, but it was funny with him trying to tell us what to do. "Wait who closes who's eyes?" lolol us.
Mark photobombed Knives Chau and we showed him what Flora did to me. I don't remember what he said LOL *fail* but I'm sure he scolded me.
We walked around and met up with Ness and her friend again, and watched KK Slider play music for a while.
Again, don't remember what happened after that but eventually they had to leave and I WAS SO SAD so I hugged them all lol.
Now, getting to bed. I had to remember what Sam's room number was, which was a little hard but I did remember AMAZINGLY. She was super tired (I felt so bad coming in late) but she seemed alright. I learned some things and felt terrible for not hanging out with her more. I ate a lunchable (heavennn) and went to sleep on the chair (thanks to my knees) and actually had a pretty good nights sleep.

Sunday Morning, uuuh, I was really sluggish until I realized it was like almost nine. I was like OMG FLORA TOLD ME TO BE DOWN THERE AT NINE. So I started getting ready and when I was ready I had to go back to MY room and get the suitcase, and everything else I needed. I had to wake my sister up, who only got a few hours of sleep. D:
After taking my suitcase to Sam's, I took it to her mom's car, went back, and helped them all carry everything out to the car. After that, we went to starbucks and got them coffee. When we left, I went and sat next to Flora, who was sitting next to Mark and our favorite poll. (I feel so bad for leaving Sam again *sob*)
We hung out a bit and walked around a lot. But not before I got down on one knee and proposed to my Flora. *smile* Despite not having a ring, she said yes. (no one witnessed this, but we did call each other con-fiance and such) Me and Flora strolled outside some, almost got hit by a flying cup (or something??) and generally bein' cute. Well, the cute was mostly Flora. When Layton was Layton (yyaaayy) we...idk what we did LOL. I remember the pimp though.

We all hung out in one of the hallways and talked about how AWESOME Colorado Springs is and stuff, and we talked a little about Mexico lol.

Then Flora had to leave. I was going to walk with her to her car, but I knew if I did that I'd get even more emotional and CRYYYYY so I said bye to her at the revolving doors. I still almost cried. XD Right after she left Layton left with a "I'll see you around" so I stood around with Lance for a while. Then he had to go, so I went and sat with Sam. I listened to her crazy friend and glared at Sam's stupid ex boyfriend until he left. XD Then Lance's little sis hung out and she was generally adorable <3 then they finally left.
Then it was finally time for us to leave, oh how I already felt that "Oh god bye NDK, see you next year! D:" feeling. Ugh. *frown* Someone outside wanted my picture and was all like "I'm so excited for that third game! The uh...Unwound Future!" And I smiled and was like "It comes out today." And she was like "WHAT! But Black and White comes out today..." XD So I speedily left to catch up with Sam and we went on that long drive back home, well, her home.

Also got bandaids and neosporin. After getting all that we left and stopped by a Wendy's, unfortunately, we got lost. The directions back to the hotel weren't quite right, and we ended up on...well, Dam Road. Which lead us to Aurora. *laugh* Obviously, none of us know Denver very well. Knives went to get directions from a gas stations and...poor thing! She couldn't open the door, it was too heavy! A nice man opened it for her and when she came back, she told us that very same man gave us directions back to NDK! ...unfortunately again, it lead us not to the hotel, but ehrm, Broadway Str. I believe. We asked for directions many times, and eventually did find our way back, but no before getting scared of teenagers, singing along to gay music, laughing at street names, (rocking the car with ness shhh) eating cold fries, hurting my knees cuz I got exited about an icee that I din't bother to get, and many manly shed tears.
When we got out of the car Flora got on her knees and thanked the lord...I think lol. I wasn't paying attention. *is lame*

Our next plan was to give Mark bandaids...unfortunately AGAIN we did not see him, and then Flora and Knives and Ness and that awesome person had to leave. I walked around a bit and hung out with Lance, I found Mark eventually and gave him some bandaids. He commented on my knees again and we talked about dreams and nightmares and how Luke got mauled by a pack of wolves, which led me to tell him about a nightmare I had where I was Luke and got eaten by a werewolf and Layton did NOTHING. Ah well, we had some laughs and went our ways.

I got tired and went back to my room and hung out with Lance, who stayed with us because his dad(flint) was all paranoid about stuff. I had neosporin on my knees so I slept with my legs dangling off the bed. I was in the middle.

I woke up due to a foot in my side. It was very early and LANCE decided to be all cute and cuddle in a ball and be all up in my business. I tried getting closer to Crona but I had to be on my side, and when I turned I got neosporin all on the back of my leg...eehw. So I very groggily got up and omg it was so cold. Like. Really. Really. Cold. This morning was so much more slower than the last and I had a hard time waking up. Eventually Crona woke up and we chatted for a while cuz I was procrastinating about taking a shower for fear that it's hurt my knees. WHICH IT DID. After my quick shower I put a crap load of bandaids on them and hoped for the best.
Saying bye for now to our Lance I walked around with Crona for a while until I spotted that tophat above everything, I waved ta-ta to Crona and met up with the professor. I was carrying a rose for my Flora and people got pictures of me with it...oi, I'm sure they thought I was from Ouran Highschool Host Club. *frown* We waited at the entrace for Flora and agh...Layton remembered me from last year. I was hoping he wouldn't! Well, he thought I was Ness, but that was my sister. I told him I was the Lucas and he was like "Oh right!" end of discussion lmfao I'm glad we didn't talk about my first impression. *is so embarrassed by that*
Flora came back! <3 And we had a glorious reunion and walked around and got plenty of pictures of us taken, and two fangirls who LOVED Layton but pretty much ignored me and Flora. As did most people, lol. Layton was quite the gentleman though, and almost everytime someone asked him for a picture he would motion to us and say "What about them?" Haha~ He had a bunch of picarats too, and Knives Chau and Flora brought chocolate coins as Hint Coins.
The one in the middle is a friend of mine named Kelsey. Well, more of my sister's friend, but she's still awesome.

We went around, gave puzzles, and generally had fun. Then we decided to walk and find some place to eat, and had to run across the HIGHWAY jk idk what it was but it was scary. Layton and Knives ditched us every time. XD
We went to Subs & Clubs, where you eat subs during the day, and dance at night. LOL nah idk it was pretty cool though and some guy was like "Are you guys in a play?" I nodded but Layton spilled the beans and told him we were from an anime convention. *pout*

We went back to the con and much more fun was had. Sadly, our Layton went to get changed into his other costume. So we were without our professor, again!
Eventually we did find another Layton, and he had a giant head! He was in the atrium, being lead away. We started to chase him but HE WAS RUNNING FROM US OMG and we finally caught up to him in the hallway. He took his head off, looked at us and immediately yelled "LUKE!" and put his head on for a picture. After we got a couple pics, he left. I gave Flora a big hug because he completely ignored her!

I...uh, honestly don't remember what happened after that. Curse my memory! I do remember having a lot of fun though. I do remember TOTORO and that Ike that called Flora "The girl" and couldn't remember who she was. XD
When it was getting closer to night we met up with our Layton who was that guy from one of the Tales games again, with her...HER?? I mean HIS friend Laef if that's how you spell it lmfao. We were with our Masked Man and we decided to play HIDE AND SEEK cuz we're just that awesome. We wanted more people to play with us, but we couldn't find more.
So first go, me and Flora were the seekers. Everyone went to hide, and we found Knives Chau first pretty fast. She was up against a wall, and we tried to get her to tell us where everyone else was. She didn't say anything as I suggested we go down Rape Road, and sure enough, we found Layton huddled underneath that weird table thing. Unfortunately, we didn't find the MM or Laef when the time was up.
Next we were some of the hiders. We didn't tell them but we hid together, and Flora had the BEST hiding spot ever. I'm not going to spoil where it was though. I will however say that I laughed. A lot. And was surprised more people didn't notice us.
At first the only clock we had was my watch, and I accidentally winded it at some point lol!! I fail so bad sometimes.
We hid there both times, and no one found us. No one found the MM either lolol. XD
Either way, what happens in the hiding spot, STAYS in the hiding spot. Like in vegas.

Our Layton left to get into casual clothes and we hung out at our second favorite poll and Eurobeat King took pictures of me and Flora, where she kissed me on the cheek and it left a mark! He thought we were so cute, but it was funny with him trying to tell us what to do. "Wait who closes who's eyes?" lolol us.

We walked around and met up with Ness and her friend again, and watched KK Slider play music for a while.
Again, don't remember what happened after that but eventually they had to leave and I WAS SO SAD so I hugged them all lol.
Now, getting to bed. I had to remember what Sam's room number was, which was a little hard but I did remember AMAZINGLY. She was super tired (I felt so bad coming in late) but she seemed alright. I learned some things and felt terrible for not hanging out with her more. I ate a lunchable (heavennn) and went to sleep on the chair (thanks to my knees) and actually had a pretty good nights sleep.

Sunday Morning, uuuh, I was really sluggish until I realized it was like almost nine. I was like OMG FLORA TOLD ME TO BE DOWN THERE AT NINE. So I started getting ready and when I was ready I had to go back to MY room and get the suitcase, and everything else I needed. I had to wake my sister up, who only got a few hours of sleep. D:
After taking my suitcase to Sam's, I took it to her mom's car, went back, and helped them all carry everything out to the car. After that, we went to starbucks and got them coffee. When we left, I went and sat next to Flora, who was sitting next to Mark and our favorite poll. (I feel so bad for leaving Sam again *sob*)
We hung out a bit and walked around a lot. But not before I got down on one knee and proposed to my Flora. *smile* Despite not having a ring, she said yes. (no one witnessed this, but we did call each other con-fiance and such) Me and Flora strolled outside some, almost got hit by a flying cup (or something??) and generally bein' cute. Well, the cute was mostly Flora. When Layton was Layton (yyaaayy) we...idk what we did LOL. I remember the pimp though.

We all hung out in one of the hallways and talked about how AWESOME Colorado Springs is and stuff, and we talked a little about Mexico lol.

XD Right after she left Layton left with a "I'll see you around" so I stood around with Lance for a while. Then he had to go, so I went and sat with Sam. I listened to her crazy friend and glared at Sam's stupid ex boyfriend until he left. XD Then Lance's little sis hung out and she was generally adorable <3 then they finally left.
Then it was finally time for us to leave, oh how I already felt that "Oh god bye NDK, see you next year! D:" feeling. Ugh. *frown* Someone outside wanted my picture and was all like "I'm so excited for that third game! The uh...Unwound Future!" And I smiled and was like "It comes out today." And she was like "WHAT! But Black and White comes out today..." XD So I speedily left to catch up with Sam and we went on that long drive back home, well, her home.
