Rojer's probably the best. I slightly resent it for being better than I can regularly produce on command?
I know this feeling very well, but like--the goodness of that fic feels totally earned, very much based on stuff you're consciously working on and doing, so I am personally not worried about this for you XP
That's a nice way of putting it, and I don't think it's like, crazy-better or different from my other fic, but I still am like ROJER DAMN YOU WHY CAN'T I ALWAYS DO THAT ON COMMAND--
Re: Baron, you are so mean, I would accept your toxic fic into *my* heart if you'd condescend to write any.
even as someone who has read (almost) all of this fic, i'm astonished how many words. SO MANY WORDS. and good words too.
first and last lines are important, you know. like gloves to zeeona.
also - i feel like your sweetest moment is something from rojer. here are some contendors aka you could have asked me :p
Don't you trust me?" Blake murmured a touch more plaintively than he'd have liked, the drug already taking hold.
"Of course," Avon said, a husky laugh buried in his voice. "I trust you entirely to be yourself."
Blake thought he might have felt a hand smoothing his hair off his forehead, but then he was being pulled under.
or
A shudder wracked Avon's body, though he wasn't crying, and Blake held him together, held Avon to him. He pronounced Avon's name the way he did, sometimes, to rhyme almost with 'even'. Even as in equal. Even though, even if, even unto the end.
or
After a moment, Avon said, "I love you."
"Yes," Blake said, pulling Avon to his chest. "I know."
It is also impressive that you EDITED this much fic! I have just realized in doing this how much /you/ had to do!
You were asleep and thus not to be asked. Man these lines are some gay shit who wrote this…
Vaginas: on-trend. No but given that I have little experience writing m/f (and NONE with f/f, shame), that's interesting.
Yeah, Part II of ABO/the sex bit couldn't be AS INTENSE bc it's about being happy and living together and not JUST pining, and I understand why and how I needed to make that trade off, but it's a bit of a shame bc we go to a different tonal register and lose a bit of the crazed yearning.
