PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE UPDATE!!!!!! I've been regularly checking this story for the past 3 years now for a new chapter, and still none!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's an amazing story, I love it so much. You don't even know how much I love it. It's so hard to find fanfics in the visual/oshare kei world, and very few of them are of good quality. But this one is (obviously, considering I've been obsessing over it for three years now...). If you don't update, I'll throw a fit. A big fit. I'll do it, I swear.

I love your work and I really want to see an update!

Hi! I'm so sorry to let you know I've decided to discontinue the story after a few years of not getting any work on it done, repeatedly running into issues with my computer, and eventually falling out of the fandom completely... :( the first setback was losing everything on my computer twice, and at some point I was already getting really dissatisfied with the previous texts (especially the very first one). I'm sorry that you've waited so patiently... :(

Ah, I was really looking forward to the ending... That's a bit of a bummer. But I will admit, I'm not innocent when it comes to leaving stories unfinished, either. You don't want to know how many people aren't happy with me for not continuing most of my stories on other websites...

7 years and I still find myself coming back to this fic. Every year or two this fic will pop up in my head and I'll reread it, experience the heartache and the bittersweet smiles all over again. It's stuck with me for the longest time, and I'm so glad I found it in the first place. I've been left with so many questions, I've turned it around and around in my head thinking of ways the story could possibly end. Maybe I'll never know, it has been 7 years after all. But even so, I thought you should know how much this fic has impacted me, how much of an impression it's left. Maybe one day you'll see this and you'll know that your story has had a big impact, that every time I listen to Umbilical I think of this fic and smile.
