I missed loads of it cos I was at Alton Towers, but I heard some on the radio on the way back.. I was SO disappointed that The Killers only sang one song, but thanks for posting the picture of Brandon Flowers to make up for it - sexah white suit!!
I'm backing Lucy up on Pete Doherty, who was brilliant, regardless of what the tabloid readers say. What did you expect from him? Did you think he was gonna walk out in a crisp white suit with a glass of orange juice and start reciting Shakespeare?
Pete is Pete, and he added a little bit of edge to the day's proceedings.
It sounds silly but it's quite nice to see people who can't stand Robbie giving him praise for his performance. Saturday showed that he can hold a crowd as well as anyone, and is a natural born performer.
Loved Snoop Dogg, which surprised me a little because his more recent stuff has been a bit pants. But live they seemed to work.
That was actually extremely interesting to read (how awful does that 'actually' sound?). I only got to see a few snippets because of work, so I quite fancied reading about it in a non-biased review-y way, and you seem to have your head screwed on when it comes to music and shiz.
I heard the Kasier's were pretty funny in the US of A. Which made me happy, for some reason.

Being in tune isn't the be all and end all of a good perfomance. He has presence.

And Elton was on for ages. Pete only came on for one song and then left.

Oh, and Joss Stone is shit.
(Sorry for hijacking your review Lucy!)
